Day 01

Arrival in Manama

Arrive at Bahrain International Airport, where your private representative will meet you before transferring you to a selected luxury hotel in Manama. After check-in, spend the remainder of the day settling into your surroundings. Relax at the hotel, enjoy views across Bahrain Bay or spend the evening discovering one of the capital's waterfront dining areas.

Day 02

The Capital Past and Present

After breakfast, meet your private English-speaking guide and begin a cultural tour of Manama. Visit Al Fateh Grand Mosque before continuing to the Bahrain National Museum for an introduction to the islands' history, traditional communities and ancient Dilmun civilisation. Proceed to Bab Al Bahrain and walk into Manama Souq, where you can browse traditional textiles, fragrances, spices, gold jewellery and local confectionery. Return to the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 03

Forts and the Civilisation of Dilmun

Following breakfast, travel privately to Qal'at al-Bahrain, where archaeological remains illustrate Bahrain's importance during the Dilmun period and later historical eras. Continue towards the UNESCO-listed Dilmun Burial Mounds before visiting the traditional pottery district of A'ali. During the afternoon, travel south through Bahrain's desert landscape to the Tree of Life and enjoy time for photography before returning to Manama.

Day 04

Muharraq Pearling Heritage

After breakfast, travel privately to Muharraq and explore carefully selected sections of the UNESCO-listed Pearling Path with your guide. Pass restored merchant houses, traditional neighbourhoods and locations connected to Bahrain's historic pearl trade. Continue through Souq Al Qaisariya before visiting or viewing Arad Fort, depending on opening access and the final touring schedule. Return to Manama during the afternoon and prepare for the following day's island journey.

Manama to Hawar Island

After breakfast, check out of your Manama hotel and travel by private vehicle to the designated boat departure point. Complete the scheduled boat transfer to Hawar Island, with the final departure location and journey time reconfirmed in your travel documents. Upon arrival, check in at Hawar Resort by Mantis or a similar island retreat and spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Explore the beach, relax beside the pool or enjoy the island's peaceful natural surroundings.

Nature, Adventure and the Sea

Wake to a full day on Hawar Island and choose between a relaxed beach day or one of the resort's available outdoor experiences. Depending on the season and resort operation, optional activities may include kayaking, paddle activities, cycling, watersports, wildlife observation or guided nature experiences. Marine and wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, and all outdoor activities remain subject to local conditions, weather and resort schedules.

Hawar Island to Manama

Enjoy breakfast and a final morning on Hawar Island before taking the scheduled boat journey back to Bahrain's main island. Meet your private driver at the arrival point and transfer to a selected Manama or airport hotel for the final night. This mainland stay provides a more comfortable departure arrangement by avoiding an international flight connection immediately after a weather-dependent boat journey. Spend the remainder of the day shopping, dining or relaxing at the hotel.

Departure from Bahrain

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your private driver for the transfer to Bahrain International Airport. Arrive at the airport in time to complete check-in procedures before departing on your return journey to the United Kingdom.

Sri Lanka Experience
